Lights OutI sit on my bed, Covers pulled up to my chin, My finger trembles on the light switch As I think of what could be waiting The second my light goes out.Lights Out
What untold terrors await? What monsters lurk below my bed? The moment the lights go out All my deepest fears come out to play.
I pull the blankets over my head, I tell myself it's just the wind. Just the cat. Just my imagination.
But that little voice in the back of my head Urges me to turn the light back on, Just to see what was there.

Long ago gods walked the earth, and people prayed in temples made by no one. The people would pray and pray, whilst the gods roamed and roamed - never knowing home. The people grew in number and soon they had covered the known world. On they prayed for lives good, and fortune sweet but the gods kept on walking; never showing interest in the affairs of men. So the people ceased to pray, made their own lives good, and brought sweet fortune to themselves. They began to push the gods aside

I remarked to another that they should bring coffe to read my poetry, but since I can plainly see you shan't grow short, such an advical statement would be unnessesary.
